alright so happy birthday to us
1 year old LOL.
well heres a little history to commemorate this day
on the day we joined forces, we were an inexperienced bunch
i for one have never been to any course, guitar or piano.
i had been playing the guitar for 2 years as a hobby
and i have never touched the bass in my life
sze kiat's onli playing for 1.5 years but he had courses
weishuen had courses for 2 years.
and kahhan and kahlok? HAHA. totally nothing.
they probably couldnt tell A from G or wat the hell a chord means.
and i tink i can rightfully say that we screwed our graduation night performance
but it was an experience. and through our failures we grow
trust me when i say a band learns more from a setback than a success.
during our time in NJ we first tried out for talenttime
a major mistake. most of us were demoralized after the performance.
we had a month's break.
and then, determined to revive ourselves, we went all out to train for RN08
we had much help from minh, and at this point i have to give him due credit.
he is one hell of a guitarist.
after toiling for 6 months, where we had difficulties, both with the music and each other,
we even had a trial run at ngee ann poly, where we rocked for some project
and then...
we whacked RN08.
and it was the first success in our career
lol kahlok was hugging everyone backstage
gayboy.
and after tat we took another break
for the promos.
after promos we had a brief stint with One HOt minute
which didnt work out too well due to our over confidence
and disastrous song choices.
i cant say the pa did a splendid job either
but fault mainly lies with us.
and now we have ridded ourselves of the muse infection (it will be back)
and we have recruited daniel lee as a keyboardist
though he may or may not stay due to academic reasons.
next year will be a better year, with better sound and better dynamics.
i believe we are much better now
better than 1 year ago.

well. today i went to msia
to a plantation my dad owns
and i spent an hour uprooting ferns and chopping trees
it was fun but stifling hot.

den i went for the first run i had in a long time

while i was swimming today i suddenly felt very motion sickly.
the water waves were basically stationary, such that whenever i submerged i would oscillate left and right.
initially i though someone just jumped into the pool, and it would be over soon
hence i continued swimming
but when the stationary waves sustained, i had to stop
looking around, i realised the problem
on my left and right were two WHALES swimming, around the same velocity as me
i was doing the froggy style(breast stroke) while they were free styling away, their log-like arms pounding the water like freaks.
of course they werent whales they were just some ginormous people.
bewildered by the disturbance in the water these two people could cause, i stopped and let them pound ahead of me about half a lap before i continued swimming.
lol seriously when their arms slammed into the pool water it generated tidal waves.
incredible.

telling NJ057, NJ079 and NJ080 to have to go for external moderation and filming of their OP.
omgwtf sorry to the three groups mentioned above but i feel so damn lucky now.

well. liberation came upon me on tuesday, 4th november, at approximately 3pm
we handed in our GPF, and someone attempted a disppearing act before signing out.

once it was all in,

it was certainly a form of elation i had not felt in a looong time.

And today was the first time in a long time since i entered NJ that i went out doing nothing constructive till 11.
though i was tired and troubled by certain things, it was fun
i mean, hang out? when you're an NJ student?
its a rarity man.
i did feel like i lost the ability to socialise
but nvm i shall blame it on my tiredness and my current financial state
i want to get a job, but training gets in the way

the end of chinese happened two days ago, on thursday.
